Dating back to the Quaternary Period, this immense amphitheater was created throughout Earth’s glacial periods from the icebergs that ran from the valley of the Dora Baltea River. These icebergs slowly transported sediment towards the Po Valley (Pianura Padana). With a surface area of more than 500 km2, it is one of the most well-preserved natural reserves of its kind.

With its sprawling natural landscapes, long-standing human settlements, villages, art, gastronomy throughout the region, which spans from Canavese to Vercelli, leisure becomes luxury.
